Mitchell Hartig, RA, CPHD, LEED GA brings over 13 years of experience in residential and institutional architecture, extending from single family homes to multifamily housing and higher education projects at C+GA. Along with his focus on affordable housing and rehabs, he has completed a number of commercial and retail projects.
His expertise in large scale affordable and supportive housing includes HELP ONE, a four-building development for a nonprofit covering nearly a full city block in East Brooklyn, whose design incorporates Trauma Informed Design principles. As a Certified Passive House Consultant, he is passionate about low-carbon design’s capacity to strengthen and build equitable communities.
Mitchell spends his free time volunteering for New York Cares, and joining fundraiser and charity runs.
