Mark Ginsberg Published in “Housing the Nation: Social Equity, Architecture, and the Future of Affordable Housing”

Partner Mark Ginsberg’s essay “Renovation” is “one of the highlights” of “Death and Life of Marcus Garvey Village: a Case Study” in Housing the Nation: Social Equity, Architecture, and the Future of Affordable Housing. Edited by Alexander Gorlin and Victoria Newhouse, the collection is out this week from Rizzoli International Publications!

The book features seventeen essays accompanied by a portfolio, discussing the history, current state, and future solutions to housing inequality in America. Mark Ginsberg provides a then-and-now look at Marcus Garvey Village, a low-rise Brooklyn complex designed in part by Kenneth Frampton in the 1970s, and renovated recently by C+GA.
