Melrose North Receives LEED Platinum Certification
We are proud to announce that Melrose North has received LEED Platinum certification from the U.S. Green Building Council. C+GA is committed to meeting ambitious climate goals. LEED buildings save money, improve efficiency, lower carbon emissions and create healthier places for people.
Melrose North is a model of sustainable and healthy design—featuring a prominent solar array, highly insulated and airtight construction with tempered fresh air, and high efficiency mechanical systems with energy recovery ventilation. Generous landscaping surrounds the building, including robust outdoor recreational spaces enhanced with a rich palette of native plantings, entrances enriched by planters and landscaped canopies, and roofs planted with sedum to manage stormwater and reduce the heat island effect.
